NIMCET 2020 Last Date Extended

NIMCET 2020 application filling last date extended till 21 April 2020 due to COVID - 19. 

In the wake of COVID-19, the last date of filling the online application form for NIMCET-2020 is extended up to April 21, 2020 till 5:00 PM (IST).

Also, the NIMCET-2020 office is receiving huge numbers of queries regarding unavailability of previous year marksheet(s) and/or OPEN-EWS/ OBC certificates from college / Institute / offices due to lockdown/closure of the Institute/University/office in view of the current COVID -19 prevention measures taken up by the Government. Such aspiring candidates are to carry out the following procedure.

Those candidates who are unable to collect mark-sheet / grade-sheet from their Institute / University are to follow the following procedure: -
(a) If online tabulation / marksheet of previous year is available then please upload a self attested copy of it
(b) If even the online tabulation / marksheet is not available then fill the declaration given at page 2, duly sign it and upload a scanned copy in place of the required marksheet.

Those candidates who are unable to collect OPEN-EWS/ OBC certificate from competent authorities are to follow the following procedure: - 
(a) Such candidates are required to download the Undertaking given at page 3, duly fill and sign it and upload a scanned copy of the same.

IMPORTANT NOTE

1. The eligibility for the candidates covered under I above will now be subject to the production of the valid mark/grade sheet as mentioned in the eligibility criteria (clause 2, page 7) given in the Information Brochure of NIMCET -2020 in addition to the rank obtained by them in the NIMCET-2020 examination.
2. The eligibility for the candidates covered under II above will now be subject to the production of the valid OPEN-EWS or OBC certificate at the time of counselling/admission at remote reporting center / Participating NIT in addition to the rank obtained by them in the NIMCET2020 examination.
3. Due to above arrangement, the admit card, result, rank and admission, etc., will be provided on provisional basis to such candidates tendering these undertaking/s.
