NIMCET Syllabus – Detailed Overview

As stated above, the NIMCET syllabus is segregated into four sections. However, there is no sectional time limit in this exam. 

NIMCET Syllabus – Mathematics 

Mathematics is the most crucial section of the NIMCET question paper. Candidates who score either zero or negative marks in this section are disqualified for admission. Hence, this section needs special emphasis during preparation.

NIMCET Syllabus – Analytical Ability & Logical Reasoning

The second most important section of the NIMCET question paper is Analytical Ability & Logical Reasoning. Candidates need to answer a maximum of 40 questions in this section. The questions in this section will cover logical situations and questions based on the facts given in the passage. Hence, there is no topic-wise syllabus prescribed for this section.

 

NIMCET Syllabus – General English

English is considered an easy section in the NIMCET exam and candidates can score exceptionally well in this section just with a channelized preparation plan. The topics that need to be covered are:

NIMCET Syllabus – Computer Awareness 

Candidates looking to pursue a programme like MCA must already have good computer awareness. There are 10 questions in this section. Candidates should prepare the following topics to ace this section:
