NIMCET 2020 Eligibility Criteria and Exam Pattern

The NIT MCA Common Entrance Test (NIMCET), is a National Level Test conducted by NITs for admission to their Master of Computer Applications (MCA) programme. The admission to the MCA programme to NITs at Agartala, Allahabad, Bhopal, Calicut, Durgapur, Jamshedpur, Kurukshetra, Raipur, Surathkal, Tiruchirappalli (Trichy) and Warangal for the year 2018-19 is based on the Rank obtained in NIMCET-2018 only. The Curriculum and Syllabi of Master of Computer Applications (MCA) programme offered by NITs are designed considering the needs of different Information Technology firms in India and abroad. NIMCET 2019 Eligibility Criteria

Academic QualificationB.Sc. / B.Sc. (Hons) / BCA / BIT of minimum three years with Maths or Statistics
OR
B.E./ B.Tech
OR
Students who have studied B.Sc./ B.Sc. (Hons)/BCA/ BIT of 3 years from Open Universities which are recognized are also eligible
Pass PercentageGen/OBC Candidates – 60% marks in aggregate or 6.5 CGPA on a 10-point scales
SC/ST Candidates – 55% marks or 6.0 CGPA on a 10-point scale
Passing YearNot later than 2019. Final year students can apply and must furnish proof of passing by September 15, 2019

NIMCET 2019 Exam Pattern

NIMCET-2019 test will be conducted with only one question paper containing 120 multiple choice questions covering the following subjects. Multiple Choice Questions will be written in English Language only and will not be translated into any other language.
